First-Aid for Injured Believers
The alumni ministries of ABCS are pleased to offer the on-site conference called, First-Aid for Injured Believers, by Dr. Dale A. Robbins. This is a life-changing nondenominational Bible conference that can help promote healing and reconciliation in believers and leaders who have been injured or disillusioned by their involvement in the local church.

While the church is generally assumed to be a safe, happy place for everyone... unfortunately it has often been just the opposite for some. Many have been deeply hurt there... perhaps through misunderstandings,  disappointments or by abusive or disfunctional ministries... inasmuch that untold thousands have either left the church or even their faith. Studies show that this issue is substantial... and may be one of the greatest contemporary factors to impede the growth and spiritual productivity of the American church. There are no less than "millions" of "former" church goers in our nation... broken, scattered, disappointed... and the family of God has generally done a very poor job of reaching out and reconciling these injured sheep back into Christian fellowship.

However, the good news is that injured Christians can be healed and restored through a ministry of God's love and grace! For more than thirty years as a pastor, teacher and evangelist, Dale Robbins has led and taught Christians how to be reconcilers and to restore believers back into the local church. His research and writings on this and other subjects concerning the church have been circulated internationally. (Read his chapter on How to Keep from Getting Hurt in the Church.) He has authored numerous nationally published books and articles, and is the founder and president of the International Prayer Network. He holds multiple degrees from various colleges, is a 2000 graduate of American Bible College and Seminary's Doctor of Ministries program, and was the 2001 ABCS Alumnus of the Year. Dr. Robbins was formerly vice-president of Golden State School of Theology in California.

This special nondenominational Bible conference (120 minute seminar, generally conducted in two sessions or services) is presented in a format friendly to either a church service or classroom environment, and is currently available to venues in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennesee. If your church or organization would like to host this life-changing conference, please contact us for scheduling information or more information.
